Colophon New Media is pleased to announce that we will be upgrading our web hosting customers to SmarterMail Version 5. Some of you may already see the new version when you login to your webmail. All accounts will be upgraded in the coming 3 weeks.

The much anticipated upgrade to SmarterMail Version 5 allows for synchronization between Microsoft Outlook, Blackberrys, iPhones and Windows Mobile Devices to your SmarterMail account. This means your complete calendar, contact lists and notes in Microsoft Outlook will be accessible when you are traveling by using your SmarterMail account.

Now SmarterMail also has the capability to send users a text message or an email when a specific email arrives, an appointment reminder occurs, the mailbox is getting full or a variety of other events that you can designate.
