 The Company

The Italy-based industrial equipment manufacturer has been around since 1954, when it was established outside of Milan. The specialized engineering solutions provider has also been present in the US (Tesmec USA was established in Texas in 1984, with an initial focus on high-tension cable-stringing equipment) and France (Marais) for several decades.

 The Challenge

The new Tesmec USA website is the fruit of a partnership with Colophon New Media, the Charleston, SC web developer that has been a marketing partner of Tesmec USA for over two years.

An initial version of this site was overhauled last fall, with Colophon working hand-in-hand with Tesmec to produce the new Tesmec USA site. After months of hard work, the collaboration between Tesmec and Colophon culminated in the bespoke new online home of Tesmec USA, which went live on January 22.

 The Process

Outstanding organization and communication by both Colophon and Tesmec were pivotal to the success of this project. Because one version of what you see today had already been created, but required a ton of additions and changes to meet Tesmec USA’s updated vision, this was an extensive undertaking that saw Colophon and Tesmec leadership work perfectly in tandem to implement 300-plus action items that bridged the gap between the previous version and the final product. 

Colophon’s skilled designers and Tesmec’s cutting-edge marketing team collaborated seamlessly to carry out the manufacturer’s vision for the stunning site that now provides everything that Tesmec’s North American customers need to know about what the company offers.

 The Solution

The only way to convey the power of equipment at the scale of Tesmec’s products is via high-quality videos and images, which serve as the backbone of the new Tesmec USA site. 

Tesmec USA’s equipment landing page features links detailing the state-of-the-art machinery it offers.

The homepage’s hero video immediately engages visitors while showing off what they can expect from Tesmec USA equipment. 

Beyond the beautiful homepage, complete with a front-and-center CTA button allowing customers to immediately request a quote, the Colophon-designed site also features:

• a thorough landing page showcasing the company’s state-of-the-art equipment, with easy-to-download specification documents for each piece of equipment
• a careers page with everything prospective Tesmec USA employees need to apply to join the company (including a link to submit an application)
• a detailed “About” page with info on Tesmec’s story and its vision, plus all the pertinent Tesmec USA terms and conditions
• a dedicated customer support page featuring convenient links to contact the proper Tesmec team regarding any customer support needs/issues
