 The Company

James Schulze III is a master craftsman. As owner of Discovery Development Group, James oversees all aspects of the operation and insures quality in every project. The company came to Colophon in 2020 to develop a website to showcase their projects and services. With their projects getting larger and their workloads increasing, they required a website that would project their success, showcase their services and provide quick access to contact the company.

 The Challenge

The primary challenge in the development of the new Discovery Development Group website was organization. The owners needed to balance a heavy work schedule with providing assets and feedback to Colophon related to their project.

 The Process

By using an online project management platform and file sharing tools, Colophon was able to communicate with Discovery Development Group and collect all needed assets for the project, while not putting extra stress on their business work schedule.

 The Solution

After a rapid series of edits and revisions, Colophon created a customer WordPress website with content management tools to allow easy updates to the website. The design is a custom WordPress theme that can be easily modified and scaled.
