 The Company

The pace of construction in Charleston, SC over the past decade has been fast and furious. New commercial and residential construction projects seem to be on every corner all over the region. All of these projects require a certain degree of foundation or masonry work and Passion Foundations has been one of the leading providers of this important service.

 The Challenge

When Passion Foundations came to Colophon, they were running a website that was hosted with SquareSpace. Although the site was quite attractive, the overall functionality of the site was lacking and the ability for the Passion Foundations administrators to make updates in a timely manner was limited.

 The Process

Passion Foundations was eager to make a change and move to a new host so Colophon started the project by doing a simple migration from SquareSpace to WordPress. In this process, we maintained the overall design but re-coded the website to the WordPress platform and then all of the content was migrated and optimized.

 The Solution

With the new version of the website running on Colophon’s WordPress specialized hosting service, the owners of Passion started planning changes that would enhance their presence in the foundations market. Colophon then drew new designs for the website and upgraded the overall look and feel.

The website streamlines the content and showcases the work of Passion Foundations for both their commercial and residential projects. Instagram is integrated to the site providing a fresh feed of new photos. Prospects can get in touch by completing a quick Bid Request form. Further, Colophon recommended local commercial photographer, Brianna Stello, to photograph the Passion staff to create an attractive presentation of the team.
