Customer: Sierra Guitars
The Sierra Guitars brand was started in 2006 with a line of well made, affordable acoustic guitars. "Sierra Guitars are designed with the passionate and discerning musician in mind, utilizing high-quality materials and original, cutting-edge design techniques." The company's marketing department came to Colophon to consult on the project, host the site, and program the web design templates that they had created in-house.
The original website (seen at left) helped launch the brand to a national position, where it gained fans from coast to coast. Colophon has been hosting and supporting the website, doing updates, upgrades and keeping the website optimized for search engines.
In 2010 Sierra returned to Colophon with a fresh design created in their highly talented marketing department. The new design improved on the successful features from the original site, but added more exciting features including an enhanced support area, free downloads, videos and an enhanced dealer search.
Built on a robust, scalable platform, the website is programmed for optimal performance and offers a flexible, easy-to-use content management system called Site Manager. Sierra's marketing department can do updates to all core content in the site.
